ONFilm Festival and the African-American Experience

Whether you are an aspiring filmmaker or just love independent films, we invite you to tune in to Another View this week!  We will talk about the ODU, City of Norfolk Independent Film Festival, and analyze two films that speak to the African-American experience.  Join us for intelligent discussion of filmmaking and an analysis of the films “MERE-bi” and “Revolution ’67” – our panelists include Ambassador Bismark Myrick, Ambassador in Residence at ODU; Professor Eleanor Earl, Cinema Program Coordinator, Hampton University; Dr. Cassandra Newby-Alexander, History Instructor, Norfolk State University; and Assistant Professor Phill Branch, English and Cinema Instructor, Hampton University.  It’s Another View, Thursday, March 19 at 9P on WHRO-DT 15.1.  Join us!
